I am an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of New Mexico. My research is in algebraic geometry. Here is my CV.
Previously I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Arizona (2023 - 2026), a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto (2022 - 2023), and a Simons Postdoctoral Fellow at the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences (2021 - 2022). I received my Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University of Kansas under the supervision of Purnaprajna Bangere in 2021.
I grew up in Kolkata, India. I obtained my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Chennai Mathematical Institute in India where I spent five years (2010 - 2015). Outside of mathematics, I am interested in literature, listening to music and watching movies.
